We generally associate ministry as being related to some religious organization or context. And while this is generally true, such a thought is too limiting because any leader who is seeking to motivate and empower people essentially has a ministry. This idea applies when a leader is addressing the whole person–mind, body and spirit.
The CEO of a giant corporation can have a ministry if that person focuses on the development of people as much as revenue and profitability. This is completely logical since productivity and profitability are achieved by productive and engaged people who are committed to outstanding performance.
